The designer Denis Svirid created this small apartment on the Frantsuzsky Boulevard in Odessa, Ukraine with a style that is inspired by the pattern of architectural planning which goes on in crowded cities in USA, Europe or Japan to respond to the problem of highly populated districts.
The interior was decorated with wood clad walls and there are a lot of snug storage areas. An additional level was created through the use of a new mansard roof which provides private quarters with individual rooms, namely the dressing room, bedroom and bathroom.
Although the living area isn’t very large, the apartment is equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable home and there is even a second full bathroom in addition to the en-suite. The addition of a second level reduced the head height in the bedroom but this allows it to be more intimate and cozy, especially with the warm wooden tones.
The living area has a surface of 11 square meters integrating the dining room and kitchen, while under the stair area a small home office zone was implemented with extra storage spaces.
