Located in Kiev, Ukraine, this splendid industrial loft was designed by Thank Balbek of the 2B Group with a very diverse and suitable blend of materials, textures, shapes and colors.
Spreading over three levels, the apartment offers space for a lot of ideas and its development and engineering process took one year, while the construction was finished after another year and a half.
The living room is linked with the dining space into a large space that uses wood, concrete, glass, metal and exposed bricks to offer a modern ambiance with natural elements as well to give it some extra warmth and complement the predominant grey. There is a green wall here that actually gives it a touch of nature and the space communicates with a small terrace offering a great view.
Other features are the wall with a mirror framed ray which holds the TV and sound system representing the entertainment section of the loft, or the concrete wine rack that is decorated with black dots reminiscent of the Braille language or the different urban/naïve artworks that abound inside.
