The Dalston Loft was designed by the Michelle Chaplin Interiors studio in a former Bible Works factory in the Dalston district of London, England.
The project was completed in only 12 weeks with the designers taking care of the furniture pieces, accessories and implementation of all the items. The interior is truly stunning; on the upper level of the building to permit the living area to include a higher ceiling with a mezzanine that gives room for a small home office.
The kitchen is below the mezzanine and it continues to the dining area, with a small island to define each space. The kitchen and dining area are integrated with the living area and the staircase brings an industrial touch to the ambiance.
The bedrooms are impressive since they use more historic and rougher elements to bring a contrasting touch to the aesthetic which also enriches the texture of the spaces.
The project was presented in the Homes and Property section of the London Evening Standard.
