Wilshire is located at The Foundry no 8 which is the first pop up urban district in Jakarta, Indonesia and it was designed by the architectural practice of Einstein and Associates & Su Yenni in 2013.

The restaurant tries to bring some of the atmosphere found on the boulevard with the same name in Los Angeles into the interior of the place and thus it servers California fusion dishes. The design combines modern touches with industrial chic and is divided into two main areas one of them hosting the main dining area and the bar while the other offers the private room and the wine post.

The materials used in the design are industrial ones like copper, steel and concrete and they are blended with modern materials such as floral mosaic tiles or glass in a combination that integrates the feminine and the masculine into a daring aesthetic. The flooring combines sections of polished timber boards, mosaic tiles and concrete and the wall combines raw concrete, perforated steel and rust steel alternating to combine an industrial but yet elegant space.
