The Vinegar Hill Apartment located in Brooklyn, New York is a contemporary loft created through the combination of two former spaces into a suite that would fit their owners through the aid of the General Assembly architectural practice who brought as many natural tones and materials into the ambiance.

Concrete walls and ceiling details were combined with reclaimed wood floors, marble slabs in shower and kitchen as well as custom designed Walnut millwork for a very cozy and modern aesthetic. The steel and glass doors were designed by the company as well to integrate perfectly into the final setting.

The furniture was built by the Parts and Labor local millworkers and it includes the media section, the dining room table, the kitchen island, while the rest of the pieces come from General Assembly themselves with playful elements such as the dog bowls set at the bottom of the bar area or a Japanese sleeping mat hidden inside what appears as a home office cabinet.
