Located in Yarze, Baabda, Lebanon and taking its name from the city, the elegant Villa Yarze was designed by the practice of Raed Abillama Architects in 2010 with a contemporary aesthetic.
The project began from a large surrounding landscape and an eclectic house from which several characteristics were preserved while it was extended with new programs and additional spaces.
There are large illuminated openings on the façade with stone lintels and pedestals integrated to offer a truly modern design. The exterior is also designed on several natural levels so as to integrate with the landscape composed of fruit trees and shrubs. There is also a large swimming pool outside and the lawn is clearly defined with the aid of the paving to exhibit a clean exterior.
Inside the villa features an open plan with large doors uniting the spaces together and a predominantly white palette that enhances the light inside and creates a cozy and relaxing ambiance.
