Designed by the architectural practice of Thomas Eriksson in the northeast corner of the Lidingo Island close to Stockholm, Sweden, the Villa Elfvik provides a low wood clad residence and is located at the edge of a meadow with which it blends in very well.
The modest exterior hides the wonderful interior which provides a great view of the archipelago from the hallway which also leads the way to the living room and dining room. This ground floor hosts the social areas and a master bedroom suite with a bathroom, walk-in closet and a home office which can also become a guest room.
There is also a lower level which hosts a home theater and two additional bedrooms along with a wine cellar, a spa with a hot water pool, a steam room and a sauna. The laundry room provides access to a technical facility and a two car garage.
