Winning the first prize in an invited competition for their project, the Norwegian firm of Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter, designed the Trollwall Restaurant and Service in the town of Trollveggen, Norway.

Standing right at the feet of the mountain this site offers an amazing view and makes you feel like you have reached a special place. With this natural monument next to it, the building tries to maintain the natural colors of the surroundings while also adding something new and original to it.

The building design is a simple one although it offers a lot of functionality and its roof tries to emulate the peak of the mountain. The predominant materials are dark colored wood and glass thus offering a reflection of the nature around it and also give it a modern aspect.

With plenty of original ideas, a minimalist style and the wonderful location, the restaurant service center will definitely bea worthy attraction in the region.
