The practice of Turett Collaborative Architecture designed this bright penthouse in Tribeca, New York City with an open floor plan and a contemporary aesthetic which tries to utilize each angle and view to its maximum potential.
The designers employed their signature features such as the oversized windows and glass doors to attract the attention of the inhabitants to the outdoors and to ensure abundant natural light inside. There are also multiple skylights throughout and the penthouse boasts three terraces and a private deck on the roof with expansive views of the city.
The living area integrates the dining room and the kitchen, each of them defined through furniture pieces and different color patterns and the lounge space has a cozy wood burning fireplace under the television set to make the atmosphere even more relaxing.
There is a dining space on the terrace with a gas grill that can host a summer party and the materials inside are Terra Mai Teak planks on the floor, Novelda Crème limestone on the walls and a bathroom equipped with a teak tub deck and separate sauna and steam rooms.
