The TAG Farnborough Airport is known to be the premier private/business airport in Europe. This airport has been the first airfield of UK and it was host for the country’s first powered flight in 1908. 3DReid Architects are responsible for the new design of the airport. The business travelers have all the facilities they could possibly want and the project cost around $16M.

The project is larger than this new addition. There will be a series of buildings designed to meet the requirements of the airport. The architects designed the building in such a way to allow future additions. Farnborough is also famous for the air show it hosts. 3Dreid managed to build a new 5,000sqm building with two storey office and operations function.

The building copies the style, shapes and beauty of the aircraft. The main atrium is very impressive; it looks like an oval bowl that seems to come off the external part of the building. The atrium is the main focus of the entire structure, it offers a circulation route for all passenger facilities and it also has operations and offices areas. The design of the building is a great image of the TAG Aviation’s service.
