Located in the Jaarbeus Utrecht which is the largest fair and conference centre in The Netherlands, Supernova is a conference area which includes a foyer and four meeting rooms of various sizes.

Supernova was designed by Liong Lie Architects with an innovative aesthetic that want to represent the discovery of new worlds. The TransitZone is the entrance area where the design is modern setting the tone for the rest of the trip. There are two large meeting rooms for around 450 persons and two smaller ones for 80 persons each of them designed as space capsules with different shapes and materials.

The congress halls are called Mission, Quest, Expedition and Progress and they can be connected together due to the flexible halls equipped with the latest high tech equipment. The Mission can be split into two rooms or used as a single space hosting up to 430 guests with a white corian façade and light strips to increase its austere effect.

The Quest and Expedition rooms are real space capsules and they are designed as engine rooms with stainless steel cladding outside and silver metal inside. The ceiling in Progress looks like a spaceship and it can hold over 470 persons.
