The Song Qi is the first gourmet Chinese restaurant in the principality of Monaco featuring a design created by the architects Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet from Paris.
The chef Alan Yau ensures the excellent cuisine and clients can experience the exquisite dishes into a setting combining contemporary design with the aesthetic of the 1930s Shanghai golden age. The bright walls and ceiling combine with the golden accents to make the interior shine with new glory.
The chairs are upholstered in green velvet with a circular table in the center as the main focus of the room. Marble pictograms on the floor are a metaphor of the Star of Shanghai origami and the large windows connect with the landscaped gardens outside.
The restaurant is owned by the entrepreneur Riccardo Giraudi and by the chef Alan Yau who revolutionized Chinese cuisine through the glamour he brought, offering dishes to share as is customary in China and represents the modern culinary art.
