The Sport and Entertainment Park of the Shantou University in China was designed by the practice of Manica Architecture to include a small multipurpose arena, an Olympic natatorium, training and fitness facilities, a large conference hall, and a boutique hotel with a capacity of 200 rooms.

The large venue hosts a car park underground and the entire project was designed to work independently from the University, although the programs work together. A new library was added into the campus with a design by Ray Chen and a new research and medical facility created by Herzog & de Meuron. A new campus park and bell tower was designed by Maya Lin and the new sports park created by Manica.

The Entertainment Park wants to be a hallmark which would provoke similar developments in other educational centers throughout China, and its name High Park was chosen due to the interactive elements with sloped roof shapes and a living roof technology that permits students to access the landscaped roofs to the peak of the arena.
