The Studio Verve Architects practice designed the Redchurch Loft in the Shoreditch area of London, UK combining the style of the warehouses with a contemporary aesthetic.

The loft is very well positioned on the Redchurch and Old Nichol street and it also provided a large interior space which was designed as a progression between the different areas enclosed in raw and natural materials to enrich each zone.

The cloud ceilings increase the variety of the living areas and the open plan lounge integrates the kitchen and dining area as well as the terrace nearby which overlooks Redchurch Street. The concrete wall panels are contrasted with the white oak fin wall and floor as well as by the white ceiling clouds which bring extra light inside.

The illumination was carefully considered to create a directional flow between the areas and the concrete walls double up into the stone bath as a curved backdrop to increase the dramatic aesthetic of the space.
