The Publikus Restaurant located in Budapest, Hungary is a very impressive venue designed in 2013 by the Minusplus architectural practice to offer neutral tones and raw textures for a very impactful and artistic interior.

The only touches of color are provided by a few of the hanging lights and the rest of the space seems to come out of an expressionist film, making the ambiance seem gloomy but highly elegant at the same time.

The owners of the Leves and Pasta soup bars Adam Gogge and Zoltan Horvath joined forces to create a restaurant that would offer the atmosphere of an elegant high class space at the new Kecskemeti Street location which would serve more than just sandwiches and pasta. The project is quite large and the open layout increases the feeling of spaciousness, while the decorative elements evoke industrial touches such as the exposed concrete ceiling, visible piping, hanging light bulbs or areas of exposed brickwork.
