The Pied-a-terre apartment is located in the Dorsoduro area of Venice, Italy and it was designed by the Baldessari e Baldessari studio overlooking the San Vio canal and in close proximity to the most famous museums of the city.
The great location of the apartment and the ideas of the designers made it easier to give each area its identity by starting anew. Spreading over a surface of 110 square meters, the apartment was created by uniting two smaller ones which date from the second half of the 1800s.
The designers created an open living area on the second floor to take advantage of the splendid view and the interior has some vintage elements such as the Baroque markings reminiscent of the Venetian lace art or the facades throughout the city.
The walls are predominantly white and the furniture was custom-made to create the perfect backdrop for the artworks chosen by the designers to decorate the space.
