The architect Dana Shaked designed this original yoghurt bar in Ashdod, Israel by employing various visual tricks to improve the interior layout.
The project is a conversion of a former space from which the niches and wall covers were removed to leave sufficient room for the programs of the bar. There is a small kitchen and a service area with spacious zones for eating and sitting.
The interior aesthetic is predominantly white with special lighting implemented to create a more suitable ambiance. The entrance into the bar is made from the street and this area welcomes the visitors through a green grass area with wood planters and white furnishings.
The glass wall in the kitchen is the only side which brings some color into the atmosphere with its unique graphic style and an additional original part of the bar are the two swings hanging on the top of the concrete floor to provide a more relaxing seating option for the clients.
