One Tree Hill by ONG&ONG

The ONG&ONG architectural practice designed the One Tree Hill residential project which is located in Singapore and offers an open contemporary design with a double volume living area extending toward the garden.

The use of floor to ceiling glass surfaces allows the interior to integrate the surrounding landscape into the ambiance and this also ensures sufficient natural light inside during the daytime. The living area contains the dining space and the kitchen into the same room with an island to separate them.

The choice of colors and furnishings is contemporary with white walls and ceiling, light wooden flooring and pieces of furniture that either follow the same pattern or bring a bit of contrast through darker tones such as in the case of the couch in the lounge section.

The upper level hosts the master bedroom with its walk-in wardrobe and the guest room, each with their own en-suite. The neutral tones are carried out through this level as well to make the house offer a cozy homogenous ambiance.
