The Nordelec is a structure built in 1913 by the Northern Electric Company in Montreal, Canada and it is currently transformed into a residential project with three floor penthouses that are ready to be occupied since November 2014 with a design created by the Cardinal Hardy architectural practice.

The model penthouse was decorated by HUMA Design with a contemporary aesthetic that still retains some of the industrial legacy of the region which is Pointe St. Charles. There are 36 apartment units with a surface ranging from 950 to 1950 square feet and they are designed for bachelors, or young families with a unique charm and a close distance to downtown.

Some of the penthouses open to their own private terrace and the design takes advantage of the spatial elements while bringing a breath of fresh air into the mix with wood floors, copper and raw steel placed in some of the furniture pieces.
