Musk and Moss is a concept focusing on exclusive service for men to provide personal care in a space created by the architect Jakob Gomez to reinvent the barbershop aesthetic with a contemporary twist.

The project is located in San Pedro Garza Garcia, Mexico where a design inspired from a primitive cave brings the clients together into a classical barbershop atmosphere with dark masculine tones. The workstations are based on three elements: the mirrors with LED lights, black stainless steel frames with wooden rectangular drawers beneath them for support to store the barber accessories and serve as work tables.

The polished concrete and solid granite are the two predominant materials with vein patterns to make them stand out from the rest of the programs such as the rock surface of the reception desk and work stations or the cement mixtures binding the hair washing sinks and the showcase area for the accessories.
