America’s most expensive mansion, the famous Spelling Manor, has just been sold for a staggering $150M to the daughter of British billionaire and Formula 1 Chief Bernie Ecclestone, Petra. The beautiful mansion, located at the Holmby Hills in Los Angeles, California, belonged to the TV producer Aaron Spelling and it was built in 1988.
The house is not only the most expensive house in the US, but it’s also the most expensive from the entire world, spreading over a huge area of 4.7 acre. It offers and implausible sight at the nearby woods and it beats even the most lavish building in the US which is the White House in terms of square footage and number of rooms.
This enormous villa is built following a stylish French chateau-style and it’s a lavish three story building with 14 bedrooms and 27 bathrooms, a gift wrapping room, a bowling alley, a beauty salon and parking for 100 cars. The mansion even has a China room, a wine cellar and tasting room, a dog grooming room, five bars, a cutting hall with professional florist fridge, a projection room, game and billiards room and an elevator that runs along the floors.
The Spelling Manor was on sale since two and a half years ago by ex owner Candy Spelling, the widow of Aaron Spelling through the famous listing agent Sally Forster Jones of Coldwell Banker Previews International.
