LEAPrus 3912 is an Eco-Hotel designed by the LEAPfactory architectural practice in 2013 and it is located on the southern side of Mount Elbrus, Caucasus, Russia at an altitude of 4000 meters. Mount Elbrus is the highest peak in Europe and it is renowned for its extremely severe climatic conditions.

The installation was designed for the North Caucasus Mountain Club which is a Russian company responsible for the development of tourism in the mountainous regions of the North of the Russian Caucasus reorganizing the hospitality of Mount Elbrus.

The region is very impressive due to its natural landscapes and its history so there is a lot of potential for tourism.

The complex is accessed through a normal ascent route on the southern glacier and several hundred meters away from the Priut 11 historic refuge which was destroyed by fire in the 1990s. The new station has four prefabricated buildings which were manufactured in Italy and transported on site by helicopter.
