The company JWT that stands for J. Walter Thompson is one of the most famous advertising agencies in the world. Probably that’s why they wanted new headquarters and a new image and this is when Clive Wilkinson Architects stepped in and took care of the project.
The new headquarters can be found in New York and the Wilkinson Architects collaborated with DEGW –that made some research to see what the client envisioned about the company- and also with HOK New York which helped with the executive architect services.
The headquarters lie at 466 Lexington Avenue, occupying 250.000 square feet and the 5 floors host 900 people. The project began in June 2004 and ended in February 2008, the last touch was taking care of the floors that were gutted, changed and fit into place.
