The Jewel of 40 Mercer is the name of an impressive residential project located in SoHo, New York City with four bedrooms and a design created by the architect Jean Nouvel.
The penthouse spreads over a surface of 4500 square feet out of which 1500 are occupied by the terrace offering a view of the historic surrounding with a private swimming pool and landscaping elements such as shrubs and hedges.
The interior has an open layout with floor to ceiling windows and a sliding glass door to permit constant visual connection with the outdoors. The windows are protected from strong light through automatic shades and the kitchen was designed by Bulthaup with twin sinks and gas/induction cooking appliances.
The master bedroom contains a dressing room, walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom with marble from Thassos. The penthouse is accessed through a private elevator and the building provides its residents with access to concierge services, an underground parking, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, rooftop terrace and a gym.
