The practice of Jose Carlos Cruz Arquitecto designed the Instalacao Bar located in Porto, Portugal into a narrow space that was divided by two structural arches to sustain the weight of the building and which was transformed into a tunnel bringing the entire space together.

The golden tunnel appears to be floating and the installation gives the name of the entire club taking its inspiration from a project designed by Olafur Eliasson. Concrete walls enclose the space with brass surfaces to add an elegant touch to the industrial ambiance and there is a separate VIP room which is smaller and takes its inspiration from the factory of Andy Warhol.

The bar is in downtown Porto and is open all night for dancing into diverse setting combining industrial and futuristic elements into a well balanced whole.
