Industrial Loft is a residential project designed by the practice of Diego Revollo Arquitetura with a contemporary industrial aesthetic combined with classical elements and it is located in the southern side of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The loft spreads over a surface of 100 square meters and it is inhabited by only one person so there weren’t any issues about privacy, leaving comfort as the single focus of the design. The color palette utilizes blacks and grays to evoke the masculinity of the interior and there is a single covering type throughout the walls and roof, namely burnt cement, so that the overall aesthetic seems better integrated and uniform.
The lower level combines the living room, dining room and kitchen into a single space while the mezzanine has no divisions between the rooms, bathrooms or closet so the entire project is actually a single space. The interior was carefully considered to create a perfect balance between the industrial, rustic and contemporary elements with a visible influence from the New York lofts.
