Hotel Lamee is located in a building from 1934-35 located on Rotenturmstrasse 15 in the center of Vienna, Austria and it was designed in 2012 by the practice of BEHF Architekten as a cultural testimony of the epoch.
The interior evokes the luxury of the 1930s and there are 22 rooms with ten additional suites that provide the visitors with a view toward the St. Stephan’s Cathedral. The comfort and elegance of the hotel is combined with attention to details and discretion.
The rooms are large and feature honey colored walls with warm lights to ensure a cozy stay, while Makassar wood panels, tassels and brass bring extra glamour. The furniture and furnishings were chosen to the historic recreation but they are still relevant today due to the way in which the building’s construction incorporates into the environment.
The TV and leather commode provide each room with a lounge area and the marble in the bathroom, latticework and paneling bring extravagance to the whole project.
