The designer Anton Medvedev from Donetsk, Ukraine created this minimalist and serene apartment which he entitled “From the height of the concrete jungle. Chicago”, so that the inhabitants would find a safe oasis in the middle of the large city.

The smooth lines and neutral color palette bring sufficient light inside with the aid of the windows that connect all the areas and the natural tones of the wood on the ceiling, flooring and furniture pieces ensure a continuity between the areas.

The living area has tables on each end of the sofa for extra storage space and the same geometry is continued into the kitchen with the barstools. The dining room has bright edges and the tall ceilings give a dream-like atmosphere to the interior, reminding us of the Zen philosophy.

The bedroom has the same white and gray tones with a low platform bed and extensive closet space in the walk-in wardrobe.
