Fatima House is a luxurious residence designed in 2014 by the architectural practice of Jorge Hernandez de la Garza and it is located in Mexico City, Mexico in the Del Valle neighborhood, one of the most traditional ones in the city with a central location.
There are a lot of green areas and important venues in the region, with a peaceful setting so the inhabitants are bound to have a peaceful stay. The program was designed for a young couple with a ventilated façade covered with a NBK ceramic cover to ensure a warm and easy to maintain structure. This is the first housing project in Mexico to be covered with this material and thus sets the tone for new construction methods into the area.
The interior layout hosts the social areas on the ground floor with the chimney, dining room, bar, wine cellar, kitchen and family room to permit them to extend into the garden, while the upper floor hosts the bedrooms and a studio.
