The Farming Kindergarten is a sustainable educational space which was designed by the Vo Trong Nghia Architects practice and it is located in Dongnai in the southeastern part of Vietnam, offering a large array of interactive energy-saving features so that the preschoolers can learn from an early age about the importance of the environment.

The building has a spiraling green roof which can be accessed by the children and it provides more than sufficient food for the 500 children. There are three inner courtyards which offer a safe play space for the children and they are extended to the roof which also doubles as an outdoor classroom in which the children learn how to grow their own food.

Concrete louvers protect the classrooms from the sunlight and the entire project is built with sustainability in mind, so it features recycled materials, a water recycling system and solar-powered heating to teach the children about saving energy.
