There is certainly no short supply of exquisite apartments in the urban areas of the Scandinavian Peninsula and this time we take a look at a charming duplex located in central Stockholm, Sweden, with an ingenious layout that manages to take advantage of each corner and make the small space feel really cozy.
The duplex spreads over a surface of 55 square meters with bright spaces that bring light to make the long winters warmer. The high ceilings and white ceiling and walls contain warm textures and neutral tones to create a sober living area with a wooden staircase connecting the two levels together.
The living area integrates the small dining area and the kitchen with black furniture, allowing light to pass throughout the entire floor through the arched windows. The upper level is in the attic space and there are skylights to bring more natural light into the bedroom which also contains a small terrace and a dressing space.
