Contemporary Loft in The Attic in Prague

This elegant loft from Prague has been designed by A1 Architects and it’s also called the Rounded House, probably due to the curves of the second level of the attic. The loft received a really contemporary look and one of the tricks the architects managed to render is the idea of boundless space, probably a key feature of this design.

The common activities rooms were linked to each other  while the bedrooms were separated, for privacy, of course.  Most of the interior corners were rounded so they offer the idea of “boundless” space. The materials used are all natural and the staircase has an integrated library and fireplace.

The pieces of furniture are quite modern and wood was used for the custom made furnishings. Since the design and the materials mix together, the overall effect gives you a sense of space. The Rounded House features a dining area, a living room, kitchen, an impressive gallery, a library, three bedrooms and a study.
