The CH House located in Tel Aviv, Israel was designed by the practice of Domb Architects with a simple geometry and minimalist architectural features to host a family with children and grandchildren.

The finish materials are quite common, white plaster, iron and glass being predominant but they combine into a very modern house with a cozy and intimate ambiance. The house replaces an older one since they love the area but the owners wished to have a modern home.

Due to the fact that the project is a renovation the old infrastructure was maintained with a central staircase as the main element connecting the various spaces of the ground floor which has an open plan. The living room with the family room and dining room are linked with the kitchen and there is a dining corner and pantry somewhat hidden to provide intimacy.

The second floor hosts the parents’ suite with a balcony overlooking the garden and a large bathroom. This floor also features a large closet and there is a basement level which was designed as a game space for the grandchildren while also containing a fitness room, a guest suite and an office.
