The Casa Playa Las Lomas I-05 located in Cerro Azul, Peru was designed by the Vertice Arquitectos practice to offer a panoramic view of the nearby ocean from a rocky and sandy hill site reaching a height of 48 meters above sea level.
The house is comprised of two parallel volumes that would ensure a 180 degree view of the Pacific Ocean and there is a central circulation axis bringing them together leading to the swimming pool that overlooks the beach.
The first volume begins to the left of the house entrance and this is where most of the bedrooms have been placed with the master bedroom and terrace next to it revolved at a 45 degree angle for a view of the sea. The second volume is to the right and is occupied by the service areas as well as the social zones with the family room and guest room on the upper floor.
The living and dining area spreads over two floors and it leads to the terrace and swimming pool. The main materials of the project are exposed concrete, stainless steel, tempered glass and granite stone for a truly contemporary and highly transparent home with a stunning view.
