Carnal Hall is a concert venue and center for art and culture at the Le Rosey boarding school in Rolle, Switzerland. The project is close to completion and has been planned to feature its opening performance on 2nd October 2014.

The hall was designed by the practice of Bernard Tschumi Architects in collaboration with Fehlmann Architects who made the structure stand out due to its low arcing dome which is clad in stainless steel as a powerful contrasting image when placed next to the historic architecture of the campus.

The center of the hall hosts the auditorium, while the additional programs are placed on the edges in a circular layout. The roof’s diameter has 92 meters in length with a total surface of 4900 square meters and edges that define the entrances on the ground level through cut pieces.

The hall has 900 seats and there are also smaller rooms for arts and crafts, a multipurpose exhibition space and a library combined with a learning center.
