The Bill & Coo Boutique Hotel was designed by the K-Studio from Athens to bring the bedroom suites up to date with a stunning interior located on the island of Mykonos in Greece.
The hotel is a member of the Small Luxury Hotel group and made a reputation due to the exquisite restaurant. The project needed to redesign some of its 35 bedroom suites and they wanted a setting that would take its inspiration from the traditional building techniques of the island with natural materials that were sourced from local places when it was possible.
The simple yet highly impactful aesthetic is defined by granite stone, white plastered walls, cement floors and furniture pieces made of oak wood. The ceiling has timber planks to hide the illumination and add an extra layer of texture that makes the interiors cozier.
The layout was recreated to be more open so that light could pass from a room to the next and maintain a constant visual connection with the terrace and Mediterranean Sea.
