The architect Richard Naish designed this stunning contemporary home on the waterfront of Kerikeri in the Northland New Zealand offering an overview of the harbor entrance, the Kerikeri Inlet, the rural farmland nearby and a boutique Olive Grove with 650 trees that is also a part of the property.
The house has three pavilions with a minimalist modern aesthetic and they are connected through a covered breezeway. The terrace outdoors includes a fireplace and an infinity edge swimming pool, while the interior is surrounded by floor to ceiling glass surfaces.
The living area has an open floor plan that integrates the lounge, kitchen and dining spaces and there aren’t too many decorative elements since the designers wanted the inhabitants to orient their views more toward the outdoors with the lush vegetation and ocean.
The master bedroom gives access to a private balcony and it also contains a walk-in closet and a snug that can be used as a study or entertainment room.
