Auriga is a restaurant and nightclub designed by the practice of Sanjay Puri Architects and located in Mumbai, India on the site of an old factory warehouse.

The previous structure got its external walls stripped off to improve the illumination and view of the surrounding landscape and it was transformed into a restaurant on the second floor and an outdoor patio that hosts the nightclub.

The exterior of the project is created by a web of aluminum fins and the angular geometry continues inside on the walls, ceiling, staircase, bar and columns so that the entire building is sculptural with a black palette as the backdrop for the web. The walls are black, the flooring is dark grey granite and there are sound insulation fiber-boards on the ceiling.

The two levels have been designed as contrasts with one in which steel predominates and the other covered in wood to offer two very different experiences in the same building.
