The M2 Design Studio created this rich and colorful apartment near the sea in Varna, Bulgaria offering a reflection of the local spirit through the choice of furnishings and decorative elements.
The owner recently came back into his native country wanting to settle here after his career made him travel throughout the world and he chose this space in a fully reconstructed old building to make his home.
The designers chose a green and deep palette combined with neutral tones of white and natural surfaces and textures such as brick or wood offering a very diverse ambiance. The interior is made even more elegant through the use of handmade furniture pieces, lamps and decorative objects along with exposed beams and abundant light sources.
The lace wall panels and the mirror were inspired by an old flower lace from the owner’s grandmother and the wood carvings for the kitchen island and the TV cabinet were done by a carving artist specially for the place to ensure as much character to the areas as possible.
