Although this beautiful apartment is located in Barcelona, Spain, it attracted attention all the way to China where the project won the Best Apartment at the Idea Tops Awards.
The designer is Susanna Cots and it employs a skin made of wood which crosses the apartment with the main artery uniting the entire space via a wooden lacquered sheet crossing the room and wrapping them as a protective cover.
The warm interior has wood crossing both horizontally and vertically to provide coziness and a natural feeling with plenty of textures. The owners love books and thus there are plenty of bookshelves. The dining room has a wooden ceiling and the wood extends into the furniture holding the TV and fireplace.
The studio has an open space with the living room integrated into it facing the terrace and the rest of the space has a white tone with black touches for contrast on the shelves and decorative lamps.
