The Ahu 71 Apartment located in Curitiba, Brazil was designed by the architect Leandro Garcia for a young couple and its interior explores different materials to make each area stand out while also integrating them into a cohesive whole.
Spreading over a surface of 1400 square feet, the apartment’s social area is completely covered in hardwood Cumaru and there are three main spaces integrated together, namely the living room, office and dining room.
The furniture is coated in natural wood veneer and it is comprised of a large stand and a sideboard where shelves take care of the storage. The dining room has a white table created by Leandro Garcia to continue and reference the nearby ambiance and the barbecue.
Large doors ensure access from the kitchen into the dining room and between them is a horizontal opening above the countertops with the same finish as the one on the floors to ensure a balanced combination of white and wooden tones throughout.
